Company Overview
SIMURA Non wovens Ltd is a subsidiary company of SIMURA Group, with its own factory in Ashulia, Savar, that specializes in manufacturing high quality shopping bags, fashion bags and packaging materials made from nonwoven fabric, polyester and nylon. Bags made from nonwoven fabric are reusable, recyclable and naturally degenerates after being disposed. In light of the growing environmental concerns, the company aims to provide reliable and environmentally friendly solutions to businesses and consumers.
SIMURA Group also has businesses in property development and its flagship company Golden Fibre Trade Centre Ltd (GFTCL), formed in 1988, is one of the leading exporters of raw Jute and Jute goods from Bangladesh to the global market.
In 2000, GFTCL pioneered the use of jute in diversified nonwoven industries. Jute is now being used to make Mercedes car components, paper, insulation material, composite boards, furniture, high value fashionable textiles, decorative packaging & bags etc.
